Æquitas
From New Jersey and creator of Gunslinger Rap, a combination of Horrorcore, Gangsta and Conscious rap. Æquitas has been rapping since '09 and seeks to use horrorcore as a tool to paint a picture of the horrors of reality. Striving to live up to justice, Æquitas reveals the corruption, hate and evil that plagues the world through the perpetuation of violence by governments. Through references to the ancient empires and mythologies of cultures from around the world, Æquitas attempts to find parallels to the downfall of old kingdoms and the modern world and how slowly the world is creating its own hell.
Now based outside of Philadelphia, Æquitas has formed a record label with local rap artist AdotWAKE called G-DUB Records and together with their homie Duhmonic, seek to awaken the minds of their listeners.
